RBI Guidelines & Rules for Micro ATM

Micro ATM functions under RBI's Business Correspondent (BC) framework for last-mile banking. Key points for retailers:

Withdrawal cap: typically ₹10,000 per transaction, as set by the sponsor bank within RBI/BC norms.
Authentication required: biometric (Aadhaar) or card + PIN, per RBI/NPCI standards.
Interchange fee capped: ₹2 for withdrawals up to ₹2,000; up to ₹15 for ₹5,001–₹10,000, per RBI/NPCI norms.
Agent due-diligence: BC agents must be registered and vetted by the sponsor bank per RBI's BC Master Direction.
